Time for Another Market

Winter markets can be a bit of a challenge.  It's not close to Easter or Christmas and it's often cold and wet, so shoppers have to be tempted by something special.

This time I'm hitting the Made on the Left market with a pop of yellow!

What's not to like about a splash of yellow on a chilly winter's day?

The market is on Sunday 28 July at the State Theatre in the City.  Put it in your diary now.

Ready, Steady, Market

I have been racing to get all my things finished and ready for the Made on the Left market this Sunday.

It will also be Open House Perth this weekend so there will be lots going on in the City.

What is Christobel doing?

I have accumulated an inviting pile of old cigar boxes, which is waiting to be turned into a selection of treasure boxes.

but in the meantime I have been experimenting with a combination of felt, vintage leather and my old buttons....

and making some graduated paper boats which I am going to string together....

as well as some new gift tags....

Made on the Left will be having its first market for 2012 on 29 July in the State Theatre, Northbridge, which should be a terrific venue.  I hope to have a stall there, so I need to keep busy making things.
