There was a parrot party happening in my garden this morning.

Nothing like some tasty red berries to start off the day!

Unwrapped 2012

Unwrapped is my favourite market.  I love the atmosphere in Angelo Street and the fact that whole families come together with their dogs and strollers.

Last year the weather was 38C and everyone was wilting, but this year it was a beautiful Autumn day and the market was a huge success.

This was what my stall looked like.

Treasure Boxes

I have been on the hunt for old cigar boxes in order to make more tiny cabinets for the Unwrapped Market.  Some of the ones I found still had their lids attached so I decided to make them into treasure boxes instead of tiny cabinets.

Autumn in my Garden

It was such a lovely cool morning this morning  I was inspired to take these photos in our garden:

At last there is a hint of Autumn in the air - and not too soon some may say!

What's on my desk?

I thought I would share with you a little bit of the creative chaos that has descended on my workspace as a result of deciding to do two markets this month, with only a three week gap between them to replenish my stock.

The tiny cabinets that I brought to Perth Upmarket were a big favourite so I am making more to bring to Unwrapped.

Onward and Upward....

Perth Upmarket is now done - phew - it was a really hot day for all those keen shoppers who came, whilst those lucky stallholders who were inside Winthrop Hall (luckily I was one of them!) basked in the cool air-conditioning.

Now it's time to gear up for Unwrapped which will be on Angelo Street, South Perth on Sunday 25 March.

Hopefully the weather will have cooled down a little by then.
