Post-Unwrapped

Sunday in the City was super hot and super busy,

I had a stall at Unwrapped, but was so busy in getting it organised that I forgot to bring my camera.

Luckily other people were not so forgetful and Little Miss Mon Bon took a great photo of my handmade beads which she posted on her blog.

I will be at Unwrapped again this Sunday so if you missed out last week, make sure to come along this Sunday.

What's on my desk?

I thought I would share with you a little bit of the creative chaos that has descended on my workspace as a result of deciding to do two markets this month, with only a three week gap between them to replenish my stock.

The tiny cabinets that I brought to Perth Upmarket were a big favourite so I am making more to bring to Unwrapped.

Violas in Egg cups

As Unwrapped South Perth is only a few weeks before Easter this year I thought I would try and work with a bit of an Easter theme.

As well as planting violas in  miniature tea cups I have planted some in old egg cups as well.

Let's go Nautical

More from down south - this time with a nautical feel.

There is nothing like a walk on the beach to make you feel thoroughly refreshed. This is the beach at Bunbury. It was quite a windy day and yet this gull had no trouble balancing on his pole.




At the far end of the beach is a lighthouse which still operates. I liked the chequerboard effect of the black and white against the clear blue sky.
