A Wrapping Idea

A great way to use up all those spare buttons that nearly everyone seems to have lurking in a drawer or a jar somewhere is to put them on a large safety pin and use them to embellish your gift wrapping.

You can match the buttons to the colour of your wrapping paper or go for a multicolour effect.  You can also thread a little tag through the pin for a personalised effect.

Old Buttons

I have a huge collection of old buttons and from time to time I am inspired to make things with them.

In the past I have made long necklaces of multicoloured buttons, but now I  am trying a different approach - all white with just a splash of colour.
